1.What's URCS?
Urcs is a server that permit you to
take the control of any computer that have installed the server, that's
computer can be under firewalls, NAT, PAT and other filters and you can also
take control.
2. How Firewalled servers can be
accesed?
Well, URCS does not work in one
direction mode, it work bidirectional mode. Iit creates an server and also
connect to other server as client but waiting for "proxy" connection... this
is a outgoing tunnel between some (unaccesible or accesible) server and
full-access server. so every client that need to connect to unaccesible
server can connect trough this tunnel.
3. Are this undetectable server?
Not, isn't an undetectable server.
can be detected, but the principal reason for use this type of server is
take control of computers that are under some firewall or NAT. As example:
If you want to Remote Control your computer but your ISP are doing PAT (Port
Address Translation), you can use safetly this server to control your home
computer.
4. Is a troyan?
Well, a troyan is a program that
control's computers without permision of the owner of computer. this program,
are designed to have password administration, levels and more, and don't
modify the system until run installation script.
(misconfigured server running can be dangerous,
becuase another people can run remotly installation. This is a feature not a
bug)
5. is a virus?
No isn't a virus. a virus copy
itself over anothers executables on the system. URCS don't do that.
6. is a worm?
No, isn't a worm. it don't
duplicate over other computers.
7. Can I add some code/patch to
this proyect?
yes, and your name will appear in
code. only submit "patch" at forum.
8. What can i do with this source?
modify, distribute, and all
permision's that complain with GNU/GPL
8. In what language are this
proyect?
C/C++ Visual Studio .NET, other's
compilers may fail, if you succesfully compile with others compilers, please
notify me and i'll post your "howto"
